I would like to make a point that it is very easy for a person of Middle Eastern descent to blend in with the Mexican population, and deceive us. All they need to do is shave off the beard and trim the mustache, buy a cheap pair of Roper Boots, wear a pair of tight fitting Wranglers with an ostrich belt and bingo, Abdullah is now Jose.

Our enemy is very intelligent. If anyone disagrees, just look a Bin Laden’s video release today. He is savvy enough to blame the United States for global warming. Osama is the last person in the world to care about the environment. He along with Saddam were instrumental in sending out the orders to blow up the oil rigs throughout the Middle East in the first gulf war. So why did he blame the USA for global warming? Because he is playing on the emotions of the Americans. Our enemy realizes that this nation will argue internally when the slightest bit of emotion is injected into the debate. Bin Laden uses this to his advantage by winning over sympathy from Americans that are concerned over global warming. I say flip the script on this creep and blame him for global warming! Show all the tapes of oil fires and explain how that is horrible for the environment. Fight fire with fire!

With that said, let’s not forget the Northern border. Canada has the laxest immigration laws in our hemisphere. Dozens of terrorists have already been captured and followed by our police forces as they enter through the porous Northern border. The Northern border is tougher than the Southern border to patrol. Our security up North is back on horseback patrolling our wonderful country. At least you can drive air-conditioned Hum-vees around most of the Southern border.

I would like to mention something about the Reagan Administration in the 80’s. Ronald Reagan opened the spicket for illegal immigration and it has never been turned off. One must put blame where blame is due. Ronald Reagan, Ed Meese, and the administration tailored the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. This Act has been embraced by Democrats, socialists, and anti-Americans ever since. Why? It was a complete failure. Even Dutch himself admitted it in his memoirs that it was the worse thing he did during his political career.

Ronnie thought that if an illegal was not a felon, was not arrested 3 or more times on misdemeanor charges, and could prove that they lived in our country for the past 5 years that a break should be given them. These illegals under this act were given temporary residency for the next 18 months. If they stayed out of trouble and worked then in another 5 years Amnesty was granted them and they became permanent citizens.

Yes, they had to pay fees, speak English, pass American civics, have a clean medical exam, and register for the Selective Service. These are the same rules proposed by the Democrats today.

The failure was that the Reagan Administration never realized that the culture of Mexico is one based on corruption and bribes. So, immediately widespread document fraud plagued the USA, and it has never stopped. Any 16 year old Mexican American can tell you where you can get an illegal drivers license, social security card, and new passport for around $500.

Also, the projections of how many illegals would gain amnesty was so far off. I read a recent article by Ed Meese, and he even acknowledges that approximately 2.7 million illegals gained amnesty through this act. The political will during and after Reagan’s administration to prosecute employers that hired illegals was also a joke. Under Clinton’s administration not a single employer was brought up on charges for hiring illegals, but boy if you didn’t have to show every form of ID to get hired after this act.

I think Reagan was one of the finest presidents this country has ever had, but he turned open the stop cock full blast and nobody wants to get wet to turn it back off.

One last rant, we can solve the problem of deporting illegal immigrants back to Mexico. Get people to snitch. For information leading to the capture of an illegal immigrant, the person who gives them up gets 1 year without having to pay any Taxes. Turn in 20 illegal immigrants and you are tax free the rest of your life. Turn in 100 illgals and we build you a home next door to Sean Penn. I would venture to guess that within 2 years most of the illegals would be back home applying for American Citizenship the proper and legal way.
